one of my mate told me she was pregnant.. that was weeks ago..
all was good and fine and i was ecstatic for her..
then, today..
she left me a msg on my msn to tell me
'i think theres some problem with the pregnancy.. r u there? i need u to be with me'

iam feeling like shit!!

there are times in ure life when u actually care about the people around u.. those are the times when u actually feel that ure friends are like a family.u go around their house, sleep eat and hang around like its ure own home....so when they say they need u, its like.. ure own sister, asking u for help.

i wouldnt know how it feel like having a sister.. coz i dont have one.. i dont think i woulda liked it if i had a sister.. iam happy being the only daughter in the family coz it means i get all the attention..call me attention whore, but its always been like that.

so, it is in these frens that i find the 'sisterness' .... i like it.. love it even..

god iam worried for her.

i miss my 'sisters'. i really do. wacthin sex and the city doesnt help either.. it just reminds me of them, and all the fun and laughter that we r missing...
then i remember how i felt when i was on holliday...
when u know u have just a month to spend time with the person u care for..
u make all the efforts in the world to meet up...
that is the reason why.. i saw amy practically every weekend when i was on holliday..

had i stayed in malaysia for 3 4 months.. we woulda done our usual..

well.. it was monday nite and the telly was full of crap.
i cant be bothered to follow 'iam a celebrity get me out of here' since its obvious everyone in there is tryin to revive their career. But janice dickinson is seriously hilarious!! she cracks me up!!

so.. i was watchin 'monarchy at work'
its about the queen obviously.. coz when u say monarchy over here.. u dont think of william.. or charles.. or phillpe.. u think of queen elizabeth!! that cuddly women who gives u killer stare.
it was interesting to watch the series coz u finally realize how much money/effort/time people put to please her.. goddamn i want to be the queen of england then!! move over kate.. iam marryin william no matter what.. even if he looses his hair.. which is sooner than u think coz its all in the papers!! hahahahahahahha.. bless em.. u gotta admit.. the boys in the monarch never known to keep a full set of hair.. harry will prolly be the first prince to have hair when he is 30.. hahahhahahahhahah

i finish work about 2.30 and i had to go off to college to pass up my assignment (yes, that long ass one, the pain in the butt ones) and to pick up my result.. i called in before hand to say ill be coming and both of em lecturer said.. yeah..no worries.. i will be here till 5..

so.. i braced myself for public transportation..all was fine with the train..then came the london underground part!!!

i dont remember it being this baddddd!! loads of station was closed, and the service was like.. pitiful!!
anways.. had no choice but wait and wait and wait for the tube.. eventually arrived in the uni at 4.30.. then.. found out both of em has left!!
i swear.. if i didnt have the assignment to give and also if i wasnt a pleasant person..someone woulda gotten tons of cursing from me.. kept my mouth shut.. and then went back.. not before goin off to leonidas for chocolate and cranberries for more chocolates!!
neways.. the train goin back was not as bad as i thought.. mind u..there was 15 carriages and all of em sits r full.. then it makes me wonder.. where the hell all this people come from.. gosh.. why would they do this day in and day out? blurrggghhh.. i have to do it 3 times a week and iam losing me mind.. and them? gosh..overheard someone talking about office xmas party..

Ingredients (serves one)
3oz mascarpone
2oz double cream, whipped
2oz sugar
30g/dark chocolate, melted
banana, peeled and sliced

very easy and basic!!!

Mix the mascarpone, cream, sugar and chocolate together.

Put into serving bowl. (i used one of those white ramekins)

top with the banana slices.

of course, iam exprementin all this stuff u know.. i cant always get it rite the 1st time around.
i thought it was toooo sweet. i doubled the measurements coz i was making it for 2 people. but the only ingredient that i didnt double the measurement was the chocolate. this was coz the last time i had this particular black's & co chocolate, it was too bitter for my liking. and also, i think, i shall cut out the sugar.

mum gave it a 10 out of 10. she likes em sweet things u see.. i do too.. but.. this was rich. good for nite in with girls, watchin bridget jones.

woke up late about 10.30
was happy to wake up coz i was dreaming that i was in prison!!

we watched a documentary while having our dinner..

well, there was nothin else on telly. while eating the roast beef, we watched a docu about issei sagawa, a japanese man who ate human flesh
how appetising.

but hell, the docu was an eye opener.
rite,the story was about issei sagawa, a japanese man that was found guilty in 1981 for murdering Renée Hartevelt, then ate her!!! This all happened in his student flat in paris.

He was studyin in paris, and asked renee to come over and teach him german poetry, then he stood behind her, and shot her!! She was 'the one' because of her health and (characteristics beautySagawa believed he lacked). He ate various parts of his body (it claimed he raped her too!!!!! crazy ass man!!) and he said his favourite human part was the bum and thigh!!and all this took him 2 days!!
he wanted to dump her body at a park, but was caught red handed!!

u prolly think, yes!! justice restored!!

NOPE!!!

coz he was sent to a mental institution for evaluation and the french government decided he was insane, so was unfit to stand trial!!Instead, he was deported back to japan, where he was put in a mental institution. Chocolate mousse

4floz double cream
85g dark chocolate (about 70g if u dont like the taste of bitter dark choc)

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Once melted, remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly. (with the british weather at its best, i just let it cooled off by the window :)

Place the cream in a large bowl and, using an electric whisk, beat until soft peaks form when the whisk is removed. (be careful not to over-whisk it (i think thats the right way to describe it) i think i did, thats why the cream wasnt sooo soft.

Fold the melted chocolate into the cream to create a marbled effect.

Spoon the chocolate mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate until ready to serve.


and there u have it. in my opinion, the easiest and the tastiest dessert ever.. i mean.. it basically took me about 10 15 minutes. its really easy.
but, i aint a big fan of dark chocolate. i wanted to add a lil bit of sugar, coz i dont like the bitter taste of dark chocolate. but i was rushing ( i wanted to watch top gear) so i totally forgotten about it. but it still tasted good. esp when u eat it with a banana!! hell yeah!!

been a relaxing 2 days for me. days off from work. so i did laundry, cleaned room. catch up with people.. and just basically make myself a cuppa and watch reruns of scrubs.and top gear. and whose line issit anyway.and desperate housewife.and the OC.and airport.

hell, the brit telly sure does love reruns dont they?

Silent weekend

well, it my favourite time of the week, the weekends
:)
its a quiet one this week. with family all back in homeland, and me doing all em early shifts, we had the whole evening together.
so we cleaned the house.
which was in a mess, up till 3 hrs ago.
we scrubbed it goood!!
the ocd-ness in me is satisfied

we watched strictly come dancing, and i dont know, aleesha is prolly my fav to win.
pls, say no to kelly brookes. i mean. not her, i just dont want 'iam mr-too good for telly dancing and iam hot brendan cole' to win it.

Guy fawkes nite is on monday, but it was kinda celebrated this weekend. u know, we needed a bonfire weekend, so this was it.
from the window, we could see tons and tons of firework display. all within the comforts of our home. yep, with the telly on, and nice cushy chairs and the nice hot chocolate :)
but the winner of the 'firework marathon display' i gotta say is our neighbour. i swear they were bangin one after another fireworks for like.. 30 minutes!! bloody money is being launched and fired up i say.
well, when u have the money, spend it innit?
