girlfriend reunited!!

this is what we get up to, me and paiville.. she is coming down next wednesday and i cant bloody wait!! :) girlfrens reuniteddddd!!

aaannnyyyywaaaayyyy.. we've booked out flight tickets yesterday and we're just basically waiting for the day to fly off.. well.. prolly a few days before that we will hunt around for cheap accommodation.. iam out of my elements here.. i like everyyyyttthhhiiinnn planned.. rite down to the details.. like.. how the hell do we get out of the airport.. but with this trip, i find myself just goin.. nahhh.. we will see.. we will do that later.. bla bla bla.. maybe bcoz its paivi @ maybe coz everytime i plan everything, it just turns to crapper. i swear it does.

we're meeting up with diana senorita and that will b fun. we r hunting for a beach and since madrid doesnt have it, we will prolly go to valencia. we will see.. we willl seeeeee :)

i miss my paivi and i cant wait to see her.. so, poland down, spain down, just finland left to be visited and i woulda kept my promises to them.. :) and prolly, next yr, its their turn to enjoy malaysia mamak!! woooohhhooooo..

oh yeah, happy merdeka day for all u malaysians out there !! yes yes, i still do remember it, so keep ure sarcastic comment out of it ok!! owh, btw, did u guys knoe that bahasa malaysia (@ bahasa melayu @ bahasa, god knoes what the government is calling it these days) is spoken in certain parts of netherlands and australia? yeah baby, we r on the map!!

iam listening to the infamous 'ping-pong' song right now.. owh enrique, what have u done with ure mole? it doesnt matter, coz when u had it, it changed practically every month didnt it? it was on the right of ure cheek, then on the right, then u lost it, then it came back, then u had it again.. and now its gone.. iam telling u, its like chispmore.. now its there, now its not.. HILLARIOUS!! so, back to my story.. this reminds me of rosey and ezu :) we had a blast on the last nite i was in malaysia.. i know it didnt turn out EXACTLY how i wanted it.. but it was good enuff.. it was fantastic infact. and just the effort ezu made to stay back :), its priceless. i love u babes!!
ps: this reminds me.. iam yet to post anything about my holliday.. will do it.. will.do.it.

woooohhhhhhhhhhhhhooooooooooooooooooo !!

glorious food!

so, i didnt do the chocolate mousse.
instead i did poached pears with ice cream :)
yes.. its yummy.. its basically the easiest dessert in the whole wide world..

just take pears. i mean.. conference pears would b lovely..
skin em, and cut them into two.
then cut the middle part, u know.. where the seeds r.
soak it in red wine.. any red wine will do.. for none alcoholics, grape juice!! M&S red grape juice is seriously juicy :)
and then just add cinnamon stick.
put it aside for like.. 10 15 minutes, to let it soak all the juices and spice. i added pepper, god knoes y, but i did.to give it a lil bit of an edge
then, put the mixture on the stove, let it simmer gently.
make sure all parts of the pears is covered, turn em every 10 minutes to let it 'cook' evenly.
after about 10 20 minutes, @ when the pears r soft, take em down
reduce the sauce (add sugar)

then, SERVE!!!
basically its just, cut, marinade, cook, serve!! how quick can u do that. i improvised the ROUX recipe to get this.. i mean.. all the fancy pansy chefs use million dollars worth of wine and spices, heck, y do that when u can do it all under 2 quid? :)

anyway, on a lighter note, SKINS is brilliant. i know it was over More4 earlier this year but i couldn't watch it often coz i was busy with college and stuff. now that is on channel 4, and channel 4+1, ive been addicted to it. iam telling u, its brilliant, well.. its written (@ produced@ directed iam not sure) by the same person who did shameless. MAGIC!! :) its shameless, but with kids.

it revolves around the lives of a group of friends in bristol.members of the groups are

• tony (the groups popular guy) the actor who plays tony is nicholas hoult. u know.. the kid who acted in the movie about a boy with hugh grant, yep, he's a grown up now
• Sid (the virgin of the group) its funny how everyone in the group is tryin to help him lose his virginity hahahahahahah.. its hilarious
• michelle (tonys gf.) she is tony's gf, but Sid is like.. inlove with her basically..
• cassie anorexic and suicidal chix who is inlove with sid (see where this is alll going?)
• chris party loving guy, who is inlove with his teacher.. hahahahaha.. i like this guy. he is funny.. just the way he acts, his manners.. tickles the funny bone
• maxxie the gay one in the group. Loves to tap dance, and is tryin to encourage the boys in the group to learn about his way of life..
• Jal she is the... sensible one i guess.. musically talented..
• anwar a muslim boy who is in a dilemma..he knoes that his lifestyle and faith do not mix well.. but he tries too.. one of the episode shows him praying after a nite of partyin. he was prayin at the backgarden, then ran when the owner of the house came in.. hahahahaha.. its all a lit bit crazy...

i mean.. its entertainment.. every episode focus on one person.but the others still come into the picture.. thats how u start to learn about em individually.. its funny as hell.. and it makes me itch for shameless to be baaccckkk!!

so, another week, another dilemma.

2 days off from work what should i do? i think i should start cooking allll the recipe that ive been collecting.. all those fancy michelin star food. heck, i might just be the next nigella lawson, welll..without all the spoon licking prolly.. iam gonna try chocolate mousse. yeah yeah yeaaaahhh.. i know there r some of u who r like.. heh? chocolate mousse? its easy as pea. well..i hate pea and i havent tried doing chocolate mousse by myself. its simple i know.. but to actually melt the bloody chocolate, i dont have the will to do it..besides.. i have what cooks call 'chocolate paranoia'. no, dont get me wrong.. i LOVE chocolate, i eat breath drink chocolate, but to cook it.. i just dont have the guts.. prolly coz i rememba when i was young, i burnt a pot of chocolate.. haahhahahaha..

iam porlly doin the cooking tonite.. so.. yeah.. iam still abit lazy.. iam tryin to persuade amma to cook the food and i'll just do the dessert.. :) sounds yummmy..

owh wait!!! but at 6.40 today, we have national quiz test.. its like.. a quiz show testing the british nation!! and we r ready with our pen and paper to answer the questions. to see how well we do.. r we the brilliant scientist type, mediocre middle managers.. and just the bloody moron that burns the carrot and broccoli.. hahahahahahhahaha.. wellll then, iam off to do the desserts.. shall post the successful attempt :)

bank holliday weekend

Bank holliday weekends r my favourite!! :) its when u have KNOW its bound to be crappy with the weather. BUT guess what? its different this weekend!! coz the sun is shining!!!! wait, i started off the blog with the weather report again.. heck, i missed my sun and i love it when its back. Bank holliday weekend also means that we have alot of out of towners. Today some familiar faces checked-in. I guess iam goin to the cricket game again tomorrow. :) but brighton beach is calling.. picnics by the sea is a must. well.. lets see how things r tomorrow..


ANYYYYWAAAAYYYY.. iam feeling out of touch with the gurls.. melin is off from college.. amy is goin back soon, sham is stuck in the twang land, ezu is leading hectic and scandalous life, rosey is just in a dilemma, pash is soldering on, hammy is just accepting, dakshan no news, and me? iam all good i guess. ive been thinkin about grown up stuff tho lately. i should get a car and a house by the time iam 28. iam on the path of maturity. but i turn around, and my evil twin mind goes nahhhhhhhh.. lets just travel around, marry roman abromovich, (he is divorcing rite?) and get the house using his money.heck, throw in a yatch too

speaking of travelling.. amy winehouse told perez that blake didnt hit her @ anything. actually, he found her tryin to self harm herself in a london hotel. great, i love 'drama' marriage. but heck. they r made for each other iam tellin u.. just like how drugs was made for pete doherty. and yes.. he escaped jailtime again. but ppl like this 2 chix in the newspaper who got arrested for flashing their bits to a town cctv didnt. they have to serve atleast 6 months jail time.. meanwhile, accross town, pete and kate laughin their ass off,snorting god knoes what. AND, in the meantime, teenagers across the world goes into topshop and go ''uuuuhhhhhh, i lovvvvveeeeeeee kate moss summer line in topshop'. they're snorting ure money, honey :)

OH MY GOD!!!! ive been feeling soooo down and out and today, i figured out why. yes, iam about to go on a rant about the english weather, so for u who got sick of it, change the channel ( i mean.. go on with ure other onlining stuff)..its been raining, and cloud for the past.. i dunno.. week? we will be gettin this in the winter itself so why cant we get good summer weather? iam off on a strop then. its the bank holliday weekend. they forecast good sunny weather, but iam working!!! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. i hope it pours!!!! the hatred is unbearable.

It was freaking windy yesterday. i thought we had hurricane dean at one point. then i thought, we woulda been blown away if a hurricane came our way. Just saw the news and it says that about 3000 british tourist are stranded in cancun, and have no choice but to wait till the hurricane is over. Bless em, they flew away from england to get good weather, but instead, they got a hurricane. Off to blackpool then heh?

Ive been thinkin about my dad lately. If he was alive, would we move here? doubt it. i dont know actually.. coz i dont know him, per say. i just know him as DAD. strange isnt it. i knew he woulda said yes if i asked for money @ to go off for holliday, but if i asked, iam off to uni in.. i dunno.. the states @ england.. what he woulda said? yes? no? the whole family is going? AND this brings me to my brothers.. i love them i do. i wish we're still kids. when i was practically hangin around em 24/7. yes, i was a tomboy. so much so that when alan was accepted in uni, i cried to sleep. i mean, that what my mum said. i dunno, cant rememba. and i miss apiq and ecuan.i just want them to be happy, and i know they are :) i just miss the old times i guess. i miss being a kid.i didnt have the whole exprience. WHAT AM I GOING ON ABOUT!!! i cant be freaking emo-ing at midnite.

Sunday Mornings!~

i love sunday mornings.If i dont have to work that is. :)


A day when u wake up, know its gonna be a totalllllyyyyy lazy and bumming day. I had great sundays when i was on holliday in msia. Somehow, I would always end up in apiggy's house, and we sould jsut back to back dvd and pork on junk food :) HEAVEN!! This reminds me: DISTURBIA is a must watch. I dunno why.. i mean.. its a good thriller plus comedy plus eye candy plus just good i guees.. it ticked all my boxes. I would tell u the synopsis, but iam too lazy to type : sunday morning syndrome u see. :)


I love being on holliday. Just the feeling of holliday.. Just knowing that u dont have any responsibilities. No work to worry about.. but this time around i had the money issue to worry, THAT SUCKS!!!!! NOW i know how it is when melin amy n ezu says.. cant go la, no money. THat means, if i go, i wont eat for 2 weeks. fair enuff.. we nee food. but we can always eat em rotiboy buns!! which was the highlight of our PD trip!! hahahahahahahahah.. I started thinkin about raya next year. Have no idea why. WAIT, its coz iam goin back for raya next yr. spending raya 2 times in a row in a foreign country, not very nice i tell u.Which reminds me, iam craving for rendang. Rendand and them lemang. Fresh lemang, bought in the afternoon by the roadside in KAmpung Jawa.Cut open by 7pm, ready to be consumed. Raya in our house: FOOD!! all types of food!! amm will practically cook most of it. Then we would buy the staples like ketupat, lemang and em square lemang things. Then k.farrah will cook and bring over her arabic food. AND that HUGGGEEEEEEEEEEEE roasted lamb leg!! wooohhhooooo.. i miss raya. :)This year would be different. We r celebrating it here, and hopefully, my abangs will make it here!! :)


OWh, I just bought 2 garden gnomes. :) NAmes: Bi and Dot :) . Next in our shopping list, a house for bi and dot. we saw one in woolworths. BUt the colour was off. So , no to that.will look for one in argos @ homebase. IAm excited about home decor for some reason now. Ive been thinkin about buying a hosue too.. errrkkk.. iam growing up!!! NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

~What happened to all the 'cicak ' that we use to see around our house when we were small. Didnt u guys notice, about 8pm, when the family is havin dinner, all em small lizards will just hang around the ceiling, just chilling and just having family time tooo.. i cant find em anymore.Not in my brothers house, and definitly not here, we would freak out and call em pest control to come over. There is nuthin hangin around our ceiling anymore and i miss that.

~Am i the only one that thinks that everytime i close the fridge door, all the food and drinks immediately starts a party?

When i was in kl, ppl just keep saying, 'allaaaa..biasa la, chinese make money, malays r lazy, and indians, kaki mabuk'. And that is the NORM. imagine if one of em mat salleh come up to u n say, ' u malay?, u lazy rite?' wont u just punch the lights outta him? I've been discriminated more in msia than here in the uk. Its not that i have anythin better to do.. i mean, yes, studies and work is something usefull, but i do that most of the day, why not wind down and ramble on and on and on anddddd onnnnnnnnn in my blog. u know, free counselling session. saves me loads of money. I aint giving it to a therapist just so i can tell em, 'iam angry with the worllldddddd!, now prescribe me with valium' .
