Not quite believing!~

Its weird.
there i was on my couch watchin telly (like duh, iam a self confessed couch potato), and i was watchin a programme, storyville. its basically a docu about barcelona football club. yes, i knoe. half of u gusy r goin..whhhaaat?
well.. i had to watch it coz it was just toooo damm interesting. i mean.. the camera went behind the scenes and all, and coz diary of a social girl was showing at 11.30 and i had to 1 hour before it started. so win win situation for me.

So, as i sat there watching, i cant quite believe something.. ive seen those halls, ive seen those pitch, ive seen those seats, and ive seen those players.
then i cant quite believe that ive seen barcelona!!
this city which ive seen thru telly, which i heard ppl talking about, and i was there, twice in a space of a month.then, i was thinking and thinking. we have it good dont we? we r doing things that our grandparents only hears about, and even then they cant quite imagine it!!
no, really.
we have it good. we do. i just wish sometimes, we could appreciate it more.

then i cant quite believe this life that iam leading.
iam travelling, iam studying, iam living, iam working,iam learning, iam watching,iam eating, iam feeling more than my grands did.
iam having it good iam tellin u
good friends, good family, good food, good job, good life.

yes i dont always get what i want, but iam pretty lucky.

when i had the family over, it was good. they were just there and i was the one who had to work and all.. and this role reversal thing made me think alot about my life.ive grown, ive change, i feel more of a responsible kid, but,

i dont want us to grow up.


cant i just stay 21 for the rest of my life?

not of me, but of barcelona and granada.
the highlight ( i mean, sightseeing wise) is being on top of mountjuic,casa battio,monserat,alhambra palace,and hanging around albaizin barrio.

so, here is some pictures of all em places. it might not be as much as i would like to put, but iam not patient enough to wait for the whole thing to load up!!








well, this is just pictures of paella, the national spanish dish,the scenery from the alhambra palace, and more food!!can u see the pasta and the seafood, well, we bought em seafood in the market and cooked ourselves!! yummy. the shisha shop we frequent and the albaizin district. i was a happy holliday bunny






The alhambra palace. it is said that it is the most beautiful islamic architecture in europe, and i have to say, it is true. the palace of nazaries is absolutly gorgeous.Theres only 6000 tickets per day issued, and u have to buy em on the day of ure visit when the ticket office open. my the abangs went up the hill at 7am and even then there was about 1000 people there!!!! we spent the whole day there, and we didnt mind one bit!!







this is monserrat, home of crazy rocks. well, as u can see, it is crazy.it has weird shapes, and if u can spot em, can u see a marshmallow man shaped rock? ahahahahahahhahahahaha











casa battio. this guy gaudi, doesnt use straight lines in his design!! as we call him, crazzzzyyyy genius!! i didnt visit this place 1st time around when i was in barca with paivi coz it was expensive!! it was 16.50 euro and we didnt know what it was. so we kept referring to the place as the 16.50 place. but i did go into casa battio this time around (thats what its really called eventhough 16.50 was much more fun for me and paivi) and i was gobsmacked!!

all in all, i had a good holliday, wouldnt u say?

i gained an hour today, since we're changing into the winter time. but iam feeling sad.
the family is flying off tomorrow,
and i cant imagine this quiet life that i will be having, after all the busyness, and the havoc like life that i have been leading all this while.

so, iam off to crawl into bed, and get myself use to quiet nites.

Family holliday = porking time!~

i have tons of pictures..
so iam just gonna post em, and hope u guys figure out whats going on okey :)

well.. barca with family was basicallythe same with barca when i was with paivi.. i mean.. a tad different with the family (usually its early nites) and also.. paivi!! I figured out 'ure church' :) and i went there too!!
so, we decided to take the bus turistic thingy, coz its easier and save amma the hassle of walking around.. but we did walk around the small cobbled road. but the main activity was sightseeing and eating!! we ate and ate and ate!! Woke up, ate, walk, ate, sightsee, ate, tea, walked, shisha, ate!! it was really a gastronomy adventure!! :)
it was like.. an eating marathon.. we ate paella, tapas and loads of seafood!! we even bought some fresh seafood from the market and cooked it for our last dinner in barca :) dont mess, we actually grilled a kilogram of prawns!!!!

it was exciting, on top of montjuic(i think thats how its spelt)(paivi, we said we shouldn't go there coz it was boring, well it wasnt!!)

i also went to Montserrat. its not in barcelona per se, it was in the outskirts of barca. so we took a train and sat on the floor coz we were soo tired. an hour later we arrived and we had to go up the mountain by cable car. i was holding on for life!! :)
but it was exciting as well.. monserrat is well known for its crazy rocks. its call crazy rocks coz the mountain has various crazy shaped rock!!! its all au natural and its a wonder how it became like that. beside the mountain, theres even a monastery and a music school.. it all a bit like sounds of music to me!! me and k.farrah nicked some rocks from the mountain!! hehehehehehehehheh

granada was good too!! but the highlight was the flamenco dance and the Alhambra!! it is GORGEOUS!!! reallly gorgeous!!! all em history in that building, amazing. granada is totally laid back, and the neighbourhood for me, is how life should be.But we went to this one particular street, day and night, every single day!! to shop, eat and to drink tea/shisha!! it was wonderfulll. at the end, we got to know all em sellers on that street. i love travelling

and paivi, i went into the 16.50 house!!! i think u woulda liked it!! its crazily amazing.. that gaudi!! he is one crazy genius!! :)

all in all.. i have to say, i really had fun in spain. for a family holliday,
i dont think we did bad at all

DONT try this at home

right, i did say i was gonna post summat about my holliday.
but iam not in the mood.
so, instead, i shall tell u guys something very important!!

IT IS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO EAT A TEASPOON OF CINNAMON.

y would i say that?
well, i found this out last nite. i was listening to the radio and the dj said that it is impossible to eat a teaspoon of Cinnamon.. then he had calls after calls after calls of ppl saying.. yeah.. we cant do it.. it was painful.. bla bla bla.. so i was thinking.. we have cinnamon in the kitchen, so y not try it

dont even think about it

seriously.. it absorbs all the saliva out of ure mouth.. ull choke and ure eyes water like its gonna flood the saharan desert!!!

then, i couldn't get the cinnamon taste out of my mouth for like.. hours!!!!

but then again, its not like i have anythin better to do..


ps: i bet some of u r thinkin.. now where can i get some cinnamon :)

holliday blues

u know when is the crappiest time of ure life?
when ure at home, unpacking and u suddenly realized,
IAM NOT ON HOLLIDAY ANYMORE

then reality hits u like a ton of buah durian

i hate holliday blues.
