the programs in the telly is buzzing at the moment..
the latest instalment of the apprentice is back. Jenny has proved herself as the bitchy one, aka.the latest katie!!
simon is a propa grafter, it will be interesting how he leads his team.
its hilariously awful to hear em speak about themself like they are!
the words wont stop. example of lines include :
iam the best.
no on is better than me.
my marketing skills will put google to shame
iam the best sales rep in the europe.
bla bla blaaaaa.. shut up already about ureself and do some work.
all talk and no action!
watching the series i just realize something about myself.
at work, iam a perfectionist (not praising myself, but the truth, ask the boss)
when something needs to be done, i sit down and do it. i dont leave it to the last minute.
i just wish the same can be said about assignments!! blergh.
and also i realize, i work much easier/better with boys.
no, its the truth. maybe its because.. the boys get it done u know.
the gals sit there, talk talk talk.. and mind u not one person talks at one time.. but a whole lot million of em talk at the same time. so its like..
who do i need to listen to?this will sound sexist to the ear of some people, but to hell with the lot of ya!
the emotion ALWAYS comes into play with women at work. i did ask me boss about this, he said the same thing. altho worryingly, he said this, 'rashi, ure the best worker here, but pls dont take more holidays'
nothing wrong u might say. well.. i have an itsy bitsy problem...
i have 3 holiday plan lined for this year.
europe, asia, america.
interesting....
nvm.
and also, DR WHO is bacccckkkk..
this saturday with david tennant and catherine tate.
she is the latest assistant, and then it made me wonder, y didnt freya stayed for the latest series? my guess is, coz she didnt capture the heart of the audience. i didnt like her, i mean, i didnt hate her, but she seriously got on me nerves int he last series.
so yes, donna (catherine tate) is reunited with the doctor in the latest series. she was in the xmas special, and she was hilarious. and this might be david tennants last series.. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
another program that i want to share with u guys is 'the no 1 ladies detective agency'
Jill scott plays Precious Ramotswe who is the as u guess is, the no 1 ladies detective agency. Precious inherited several things for her dead father, so what she did was move to the capital and opened up the agency. she hired a secretary grace, who is sooo professional, she even typed up the conversations between her and Precious. Business was slow at first, but slowly but surely, people started coming in. there was the wife who wanted to find out if the wife was cheating, kidnapping case, and also a women who thinks that her father isnt her real father. the drama was directed by late Anthony Minghella who did The English Patient so the whole set-up was just brilliant.
it is set in botswana, and the scenery was just beautiful. the people in the drama was delightful too and the accent, was like.. weird because.. it was the Queen's english spoken in an accent. It is actually a novel, but they have turned it into an one off tv drama. but i heard a whole new series is coming our way in december *claps claps*
My my my, talking about me favourite thing in the world, the telly made me realize that breakfast time is approaching brunch time :)
iam off to watch Top Gear, call me a bloke, i do not care.
:)
toodles!
