noisy friday!~

it was friday yesterday (rite?)
had the L shift at work..
was looking forward to a quiet day at work..
u know how it is.. half of the guest usually checks-in and then they go off to a party somewhere..
Christmas party, birthday party, anniversary party.. all kind of party..
so.. i brought a book along to keep me occupied..
then i met mr daniels, mr ayres and mr rick.

they wanted to drink in the bar.. all good.. jolly.. dandy.. nope.
they were happy and talkative bunch of guys..
they told me...
'when our wives come back from the shop, can u tell them that the husbands has gone up to the rooms with their wives?'
i was like...
'noooooooooooooooooo, i dont want to be the cause of ure divorce!!!'

BUT

when the wives did come back.. they asked the ladies to stand in line and asked me to match the pair up.. it was reallly hillarious!! they were a good bunch tho.. and the wives were rely lovely ladies.. they were laughin tooo.. i think they tend to be silly with everyone.. (ps: i did match all of em correctly, i have a gift!!)

so..talked to them.. they told me.. the guys have been friends forever.. so every year they try to meet up around december (u know.. for xmas) go away for the weekend somewhere.. just to hang around and chill and just.. catch up with each other..and i thought.. lovely! they have been friends since they were 12 yrs old.. and they are about 45 now.. and the best part they told me is that their wives get along with each other reallly well tooo..

they were relly nice.. funny to.. we laugh and laugh and laughed.. they took loads of picture.. and i could imagine myself doin the same thing when iam 40 with me mates...

and i thought..
its been like..forever but they still meet up every year..
friendship needs work..
we wont remain friends forever if we r tooo busy with life..
i mean yes...real friendship stand against time..
but then again....every now and then...
meeting up for a cup of coffee is necessary..
talking to each other atleast once a year is a must.. :)
and most of alll...
just try and remember..
good friends are always by ure side :)
