this came in the mail last friday.
i thought this was the coolest mail ive ever received in my life!!
i mean seriously, how often do u get this kinda mail? i know its a campaign (iam telling u.. the election will prolly be next yr) but still!! really!!

now, iam sure other millions 18's yr old around the country is gettin this too.. but.. iam gonna frame it.. and just lie to me grandchildren by saying...'u see, granny was once an important person' :)

the story accompanying this fake 'newspaper' says things like..
'rashidah rashid is soon expected to reach a decision that will effect the whole country' and bla bla bla.. all those sucking up lines u know.
all this is well and good.. but i was thinking.. how much did they actually spent doing this campaign?

read in the newspaper yesterday that the whole customizing and giving out the letters cost about £200,000
HOLY GOD!!!
i mean.. really..thats a whollleeeee load of cash!!

and the homeless is still without a home,
the sick is still waiting for treatment in the NHS
and the single mother with 2 children is still without a council house.

all this money, just to feed on the nations 18 year old ego..
