U know winter is here when all u want is to curl up warm and drink soup all day

iam not prepared for winter!
i have no boots!
and my summery curtain is still up!!!!

as i drove around today..

As i drove around (wooaaahh, finally!) today, i realize a couple of things...

people dont change. if they have been complaining the last time u see them, they will prolly complain about how the weather is the next time u see them. even if the weather has been perfect

I havent missed Autumn. when i was in malaysia, i was scared i was gonna miss the wonderful auburn, gold, chocolate colours of Autumn. but i havent. Some of the trees still havent shed their leaves, so its wonderful.

We have been getting some wonderful weather. the Sun is out, and its lovely.

People in sabah love their state and country more than the Semanjung residence. Everywhere u go u could see the sabah and malaysian flag. EVERYWHERE!

and i realize, sitting at home lazing around is more tiring than doing a day's worth of work!

I havent updated for ages,
forgive me, but iam on a holiday..
a phase where everything is fast-paced, body clock ticking at strange hours, sleeping when u should be eating, and eating when u should be sleeping..
so iam blogging when i should be doing some work!
ah, work!

well.. not really work.. iam just helping with some filing of cases and mending the phone..
so.. basically, iam facebooking..

i talked to one of my oldest bestie yesterday, and the other one is visiting me on thurs! :)

From then on, its basically having quick meet ups with friends, packing.. and the dreadful flight..
and then its back to school!

So the big bro has basically gave a warning.. he said to my mum..
'please tell ure daughter she doesnt need to go out when she's down.. just sit at home and spend time with the family..'
to which i reply to my mum..
'iam 22 and i can do what i want...'

rite, so.. u would think this is some kind of rift in the family.
its not. i understand what the big bro is saying..
but at the same time.. it made me wonder..
they let me loose till i was 22, and NOW they are setting boundaries?
that aint gonna work now issit?
bless him.. i will be at home more i guess...

so, today was such a productive day.. came back from work, then helped mum with her assignments..
which turned totally sentimental since we were listening to Eid songs..
last year, when the family came down for Eid here, i asked the 2nd bro to bring a raya album..
so he brought it.. all 100 songs..
there were some master classic such as...

iam telling u.. its all up in me head...
but, here is something that's bugging me...
this racial issue that is going around malaysia...
let it freaking rest!
the only original origins (heh? makes sense?) is the aborigines!
not the malays, the chinese, the indians, the lain-lain.
So, will u just shut the hell up?
cant we just enjoy the rumah berbuka?

spur of the moment..

today is panning out to be totally fabulous..
woke up, not worrying about getting ready for work, since i have the day off...
surf the next, yada yada yada... applied for a job...
then, called my hairdresser...

me: hiya, do u have any opening for either today or tomorrow?
Julie: how soon can u come?
me: 30 minutes?
Julie: yeah, well, i'll see u in 30 minutes then..
me: erh? ok! BYE!

so.. thats how it was today..
went to the hairdresser, (btw, i LOVE my new haircut)
then, on the way, walking back home.. stopped at all this gorgeous quirky lil shops..
obviously i bought things.. its all on SALE!!
such a bloody dangerous word...
bought some pins for me bag,
a belt, and
a bling-ed up ring

iam totally happy, since i had nothing plan today. just the usual lazing around..
but u end up hating ureself for not being productive.
so NOW,
iam off to laze around..
